McShane & Bowie PLC is pleased to announce that Jennie Boldish Bryan and Kyle Quinn have joined the firm to launch its Divorce & Family Law Practice, adding to the business and corporate law, employment, real estate, litigation, and estate planning services the firm offers.
“The arrivals of Jennie and Kyle are a meaningful addition to McShane & Bowie,” said managing partner Michelle Anthes. “They use compassion, persuasion, negotiation, and aggressive advocacy to help clients successfully navigate sensitive life transitions. Consistent with the firm’s charitable and civic involvement, they also devote substantial time and energy to community activities. We are delighted to have them on the McShane & Bowie team.”
With a legal career spanning more than 32 years, Jennie Boldish Bryan handles divorce cases, child custody matters, and complex business valuation matters, as well as related issues, such as alimony, child support, hidden assets, and inherited or gifted assets. Her knowledge and tenacity in and out of the courtroom are well known in West Michigan, and she is often retained on a private basis to serve as a mediator or arbitrator in divorce and child custody disputes.
Jennie is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, a prestigious and highly selective group of lawyers considered experts in family law. She has held leadership roles in the AAML, the Grand Rapids Bar Association (GRBA), and the Institute of Continuing Legal Education (ICLE). In 2013, Legal Aid of Western Michigan honored her with the Michael Barnes Award for Pro Bono Service and West Michigan Woman Magazine featured her on its cover as a recognized leader and professional within the Greater Grand Rapids community.
Similarly, Kyle Quinn possesses experience across the range of family law matters, is highly regarded within the West Michigan legal community, and is a certified domestic mediator and trained domestic collaborative practice lawyer. He has held a variety of positions with the GRBA’s Family Law Section and served as the organization’s chair in 2015. In 2016, he was appointed by the Grand Rapids Board of Commissioners as the family law attorney to the Grand Rapids Friend of the Court Citizens Advisory Committee. Kyle has lectured on family law issues for the GRBA and ICLE and has written for the Michigan Family Law Journal and Practice Guide: Michigan Family Law (LexisNexis). He has been named to the list of Super Lawyers Risings Stars in Michigan for the last four years.
“McShane & Bowie’s people, platform, and vision make it a great fit for our practice,” Jennie said. “The firm is deeply committed to diversity, retains top talent, and has a reputation for delivering excellent client service and results.”
