Benjamin Y. Sherman is an associate attorney at McShane & Bowie, PLC, focusing on civil litigation. A former student-athlete at Truman State University, Ben was a team leader and repeated conference team competitor. Ben graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with a minor in Business Administration. As he proceeded into his legal education, Ben continued to excel, graduating cum laude from Michigan State University College of Law in 2023. During his time at MSU Law, Ben served as Executive Editor of the Natural Resource Law Review, was a member of member of MSU Trial Practice Institute program and MSU Law’s Board of Advocates, served as a Professor’s assistant in Constitutional Law, and earned two Jurisprudence awards.

In his free time, Ben enjoys a wide variety of water-related activities, particularly including swimming, wake boarding, and wake surfing, among others. When not in the water, Ben remains active by exploring the outdoors through hiking with his dog. A proud Eagle Scout, Ben continues to be involved with the Boy Scouts of America. He especially likes winning board games against friends and family, and expanding his already excessive knowledge of world history and film.
