McShane & Bowie Names Shier as Partner
Grand Rapids, Mich. – McShane & Bowie, West Michigan’s leading real estate development law firm, announced today that Andrew C. Shier has been named a partner in the Firm.
Shier, who practices in McShane & Bowie’s litigation group, joined the firm in 2002. His areas of practice include commercial and real estate litigation and he represents a number of local banks, contractors and businesses before Michigan’s state, federal, and bankruptcy courts.
He holds a bachelors degree from Eastern Michigan University and received his law degree from the University of Minnesota Law School. He is a member of the American Bar Association, State Bar of Michigan as well as the Grand Rapids Bar Association.
