Our Clients

McShane & Bowie represents a wide range of clients from publicly traded companies to individuals to United States based affiliates of foreign corporations.  While most of our clients are based in Michigan, we frequently represent clients from around the country as well as from overseas.  Likewise, we assist our clients not only with their matters here in Michigan but also in other states and from time to time in foreign countries, working with local counsel as needed. 

Because of our reputation, McShane & Bowie also frequently handles matters on a referral basis or serves as local counsel for clients whose primary attorneys do not practice in Michigan or whose attorneys do not practice in one of our practice areas.  This can be the case where for example an out of state real estate developer is developing property in Michigan or an company is setting up a Michigan based operation.  Similarly, we assist as joint counsel in litigation matters when the client’s primary attorney is not licensed to practice before Michigan courts.
